Art House at Chiangdao - Waterlily House, hotel in Chiang Dao

Located in Chiang Dao, 23 miles from Elephant Nature Park, Art House at Chiangdao - Waterlily House has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at. The accommodation is located on a local artist's grounds that has gorgeous walkways and gardens. It was almost dream-like. I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this place as the pictures online do not do it justice. Perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Would love to stay here again!

Chiang Dao Hostel, hotel in Chiang Dao

Located in Chiang Dao, 23 miles from Elephant Nature Park, Chiang Dao Hostel provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Nestled among the trees, the place is an idyllic spot for relaxing and listening to nature's sound. The mosquitoes can be a real nuisance, though, so need a repellent. The room was comfortable with a nice, large balcony which comes with a bed and a mattress to relax and watch the stream beneath flowing by. The host was also kind and made time to take me to the cave. The bus station is just a few minutes walk away. So, all in all, it was a comfortable stay.

Lovely hostel nearby the Main Street and bus station of Chiang Dao. The staff are very friendly and can organise a scooter rental for you, which makes it easy to get around to the different sites. The grounds of the hostel are so peaceful with many places to chill out, including the hammocks! The beds are really comfortable and they provide free towels.

The hostel itself is a work of art. Beautiful garden with hammocks and a bamboo house by the river. Kat was the best host you could imagine. Not only could I get a free upgrade to the most beautiful bamboo house, but she also organized my guided hike through the forest, the caves, a hot spring and up to a tent on the hill. She also showed me her favorite noodle restaurant and taught me how to ride a scooter. I stayed for a week in total and recommend this hostel to anyone - from solo backpacker to family holiday ❤️
