- The location is good near Cha-am beach in walking distant
- The receptionist is friendly and show us room/facilities. (I think they provide pre-order breakfast but I didn't order) There is plenty of space in the first floor for eating and chilling. Surprise that I found plenty of books here, like a mini-library
- An elevator is available though slow but safe, you may take stairs as well
- The room I choose is on the 4th floor which is the highest, and have only one room so spacious space, decoration is homey and summer-ish. Bathroom is fascinated, there is a cavity above and you can enjoy moonlight when jacuzzi-ing
- Bed is comfy but not too soft. Basic facilities are prepared like Smart TV, hair dryer, closet, mirrors, kettle etc.

I came alone for a weekend trip from Bangkok and really liked my stay at Cha-am! I missed my train and because I arrived so late at night, Khun Kwan offered to drive me from the station to the hotel. Thank you very much again! :)) I stayed two nights at Cha-am Fish Star and really liked the kind people of the hotel, the comfy bed and the great location, so close to the beach! They also offer coffee and some snacks for breakfast :) Overall, I had a great stay there and can only recommend the hotel!
I spent over a week in the shared dorm and most nights I had the whole house to myself. There is plenty of room for luggage and you get keys to two lockers, which is unheard of in many hostels. The atmosphere of the place is very calm, it's spotless and the location is very good in Cha Am. The beach can be reached in 5 minutes by foot, a good 7/11 is just as far away and there are plenty of local restaurants around. You get peace and quiet on a budget here.
