You can't beat the price and location of this hostel if you're a backpacker. Sure, it's a bit worn, but cleaning of the bathrooms for dorm sleepers was daily. Staff helped me with use of local transport. Bus #121 just at the corner will take you to the centre of town and the port for ferries to Isle Gorée or to Ziguinchor, Casamance. There's also a clothesline and a nice terrace on the roof.

Rima is a great host. Always available and super helpful. Whatever was needed she provided or fixed it in no time. The apartment is in a great location with easy access to many restaurants, bars, clubs and shopping facilities. It's also in a very safe environment. Highly recommended.
Nice peaceful hotel away from the noise of Dakar but in a great location. Felt very safe and staff were very friendly. Amazing to have air conditioning and a cute balcony. Would definitely recommend
