Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location by the lake. Amazing breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. Room was nice and bed comfy with access to big terrace. Dorm was quiet a there was only 2 of us in the room. Small kitchen available if you want to cook for yourself, otherwise buffet kitchen is available on site. Food was great quality and decent portion. There a communal room for people staying in the hostel.
Beautiful view from the window of the Tatra panorama. Very tasteful and modern decor. Very good instructions on how to check in and out. Parking right next to the property. High standard of cleanliness. Great location for those who enjoy mountain hiking and more.
Great location next to the start of many hiking trails and great views from the room.
Excellent breakfast choices.
Staff was very fourthcoming when it was needed to change booked dates at the last minute.
In the room it was very quiet as we could not hear the neibghours.
And the option to use the swimming pool after the hike to the Rysy was excatly what was needed.
Everything was great!
Modern, clean and well equipped apartment. The bed was really comfy also! Great location near the main resort section (south of the lake) and a short walk to the north of the lake. Parking was easy to get to with a space allocated for every apartment (rare to get elsewhere) and spaces plenty big enough.
Great location and very clean apartment. Very close to the train station and lots of eating options nearby. The one staff lady was very nice and always greeted us with a smile although she did not speak in English much. A very nice place on a budget.
Location was good. The accommodation is an equivalent to the Youth hostel, basic but well managed and clean.
Sometime can be noisy (small children playing in the corridor or staircase)
The place population (of approx 300 local people) consists mainly of tourists in the hotels.
But still some cheaper eating facilities still exists near the railway station.
People are very nice. The tourist office is excellent.
Amazing view at the lake and a hotel of a kind. Compared to other sleeping places on top of mountains probably super luxurious, me as a hostel city backpacker did find quite a few things not as expected.
Breakfast is ok, limited in fruits but everything you need for filling up before hiking. Very nice Terrasse and amazing staff from the kitchen / bar. Super nice vibe there. Showers and rooms were always clean. They provide a drying room which was amazing with unstable weather.
