A very cosy and welcoming establishment with very friendly and lovely staff, who were very helpful. Check in was flexible. I recommend the hostel very highly. Prices are reasonable.
The rooms are basic as is usual in mountain huts. But they are clean and well-kept. You can also have a private bedroom rather than a dorm, for not much more money (this is what I did 😄). There is running hot water, clean bathrooms with showers and toilets. The hostel is wooden in an attractive rustic chalet style, but will modern(ish) renovations.
Food was home-cooked, and fresh. The ričet was absolutely delicious. Atmosphere is welcoming and this place is popular with Slovenians.
The location is amazing. The hostel is nestled within thick forests over 1000m up upon the mountain slopes of Slovenia’s Karawank mountains (gotta love that name), near the Austrian border.
You need to drive up a long gravelly road winding and hair-pinning up to get to the hostel (in the summer there is a toll). Once there, you have plentiful hiking opportunities. Just a short walk through the forest will bring you to a viewpoint to look upon Lake Bled, puddle-sized below you, and the jagged teeth of Triglav National Park on the horizon. The hike up Stol mountain is very much recommended (it’s quite tough though - 1200n ascent). Views are spectacular.
Set 2 km from Grajska beach, Hostel LakeBled offers 3-star accommodation in Bled and features barbecue facilities. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace.

Quiet location, with comfy and clean rooms. The area felt quite safe at night, so we weren't uncomfortable walking back in the dark.

I stayed there only one night. It was quiet in the hostel as out of season. Clean place. Close to the local market and shops. I enjoyed it, and will be back.
Hostel Lukna in Mojstrana has barbecue facilities and a garden. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge and ski storage space. Free WiFi is available.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Best hostel I’ve ever been too , everything was spotless and organised. Very close to train station and bus station which you Can go to lake bled and also have a Lidl 10 minutes away from property and a resturant up the road which gives 10% off !!! The owner was helpful and friendly which was great to find out things about the property itself and its surroundings !!!
The hosts were very helpful about activities in the area. It's nice that you can add a cheap breakfast (3€+coffee) to your booking and that you have the possibility to rent bikes at the hostel. The room was very basic but everyone has access to a well equipped kitchen. They have multiple clean bathrooms, so that it feels very private.
1.Located in an uncrowded area. Hence, I can have a room for myself for a cheaper price.
2.Public transport. Near the train station (Lesce-Bled) and easy access to Bled lake/Bled main bus station and Lake Bohinj from the nearest bus stop (Lesce).
3.I like the hostel vibe. It's home to me. I really don't bother with the bell sound from the church because it is not all the time. Just let the window close, for lesser sound.
Great location next to train station which is a 50 min train from Ljubljana. There’s a local bus for €1.60 which runs half hourly all day to bled or there’s a free hostel shuttle that runs at 10am and 6pm. Hostel provides great activities which I did the rafting (wasn’t that much fun) and the canyoning (was a lot of fun and super challenging in a good way too.
Everything was really good. Hostel is surprisingly clean. Plenty of showers and toilets outside the rooms. Some comments mentioned the church bell tolling early in the morning but I did not hear it during my stay :)
Breakfast is basic but cheap. A free shuttle bus between Bled and the hostel. I would stay there again.
This is an older youth hostel, you won't find fancy facilities here. BUT it has charm, has the right quiet vibe, is spotlessly clean with good beds and plenty of luggage storage space, and the staff is wonderful.
I also liked the shuttle to Lake Bled (en on 1 January morning) and the breakfast (only 3 euro). The area is perfect for walking, you can take the day and go around the like and then back to Lesce by foot which is beautiful.
