I had a great time at Generator Stockholm, the place was clean and my roommates were also nice. I stayed in a female dormitory, the bed was comfortable and the bedroom wasn't noisy. The hostel atmosphere was great and the staff was also kind.

Staying in a refurbished prison is so cool. Staying in cells that still feel like prison cell, while remaining comfortable, is awesome!

Very peaceful and enjoyable setting. Great staff and a good breakfast. It was a bit of a walk to get there over cobblestones with a suitcase - a compromise between charm and effort required.

My prison cell hostel bunk room had really good functional space for 1 person (2 may have been tight) The small table and chairs were perfect & the 2 lockers provided good hanging space & bag storage, great wifi. Bathrooms & toilets were spotlessly clean & womens' bathroom had 2 hairdryers. Location to Hornstull was about 10mins walk with Flygbussarna stops, metro, retail & grocery shops & a 66/54 bus stop just over the bridge from Langholmen to take you either over the bridge to Fridhemsplan or to Medborgarplatsen/SoFo via Hornstull. Guest kitchen was up 2 floors from the hostel & well equipped, large size, the fridge had a locker system & there was a separate small guest freezer, dining room had seating for 16 & a tv. I didn't have hotel breakfast as it ended at 9.30am & I was finishing up a month of travel so doing things at my own pace was important. The hotel is definitely well set up as a conference & events venue & I imagine it's a great location in summer.
Conveniently set in the Östermalm district of Stockholm, Nomad Gardet is located 2.7 km from Skansen Open-Air Museum, 2.7 km from ABBA The Museum and 3 km from Gröna Lund Amusement Park.

Super friendly staff. Really easy access with bus no. 1 from the Gärdet metrostation.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The cabin was clean and renovated, complies with safety standards and felt really comfortable and cozy. Plus the hosts were really kind and welcoming, they showed us around and even offered us some wild strawberries from their garden. Would greatly recommend staying there!
