We had a lovely stay at Casinhas no Carolina. Our room was very cute & cosy and Pasteis de Nata were waiting for us. A very nice and elaborate breakfast was included and served in the garden if nice weather, or inside when it rained. We could choose between an oriental and vegetarian breakfast option. Bathrooms were shared with the 5 rooms, but there were multiple bathrooms so this was not really an issue. The staff was very friendly. The accommodation is a bit out of the centre, but luckily close to a metro station, making it easy to reach the city centre. We had a great experience here and we would very much recommend staying here for a couple of days to visit Porto!

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Everything was perfect. The house was completely new and renovated, and everyfhing was clean. The accommodation was like in a 5-star hotel. We only stayed one night and because of our early flight we didn't take breakfast (but the host gave us some snacks to bring). The location is the best thing, only 10 minutes walk from the airport, and this route is safe even at night. All recommendations for Jose and Rosa!
Excellent location. Around 10min. by foot to the airport direct way (area is well lightened, safe). The owner of the property explained all necessary information about property, area in a very good English language (compliments to his English level, teacher!). Comfortable beds. Fully equipped bathroom for a traveler needs (shampoo, hair dryer). Free water in bottles, cookies, tea, water kettle was a nice bonus (didn't see close shop nearby in the area and was no power to walk around to look for it).
For the price, this was the best hostel to stay the night and walk to the airport. It was lovely to meet some nice people and chat before leaving Porto.
Great location, short taxi ride if you have kids to the airport €4 approx or 10 minute walk. Host Jose was very helpful, kind and friendly. Kids played on the trampoline, tennis and football. He gave them chocolate milk and also us some milk. The rooms were very clean and modern. Air conditioning that you can control yourself. Lovely overall.
Great location very close to the airport (walking distance), perfect for an early flight. The beds are super comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet. José is friendly and helpful, he even recommended a very good nearby restaurant for dinner.
This was one of the cleanest and most thoughtful places I've ever stayed. Great location just a short walk to the airport, huge bathroom and shower head and very comfortable bed. We had access to plenty of coffee and tea and a great little coffee machine. I would definitely recommend Next to the Airport over any other hotel nearby!
