Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The location of this hotel is great. The views from the restaurant are amazing. The food is delicious, we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. There was a lot of choice for breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were travelling by motorbike and whilst there was no attached parking we found a spot directly outside the hotel which was absolutely fine and safe. We would use this hotel again if in the area and would highly recommend it.
For a budged hostel, the place is very well equipped, very clean, and spacious.
The rooms are comfortable and (at least off season) not crowded, guests are spread evenly into the dorms.
Bedding and towels are clean, there are plenty of blankets.
The breakfast is exceptional with plenty of choices,
to point out the most unique: cake, fresh fruits, yogurt, good coffee.
The staff are very nice, friendly, and welcoming. There is ample and quiet public space to work.
Good comfort, value for money. Sauna, swimming pool and breakfast included. Safe parking. After cool and cold private apartments this was really warm and comfortable place in our journey.
A quirky hotel with split level communal areas that intertwine a ruined stone building. Great location in the historic town. Our room was very basic and slightly jaded, but that seemed to add to the overall ambiance. Despite being on the first floor we had a superb view of the sunrise across the surrounding countryside. We found it easy to park for free in the street just below the hotel.
