The building itself is 129 yrs old with original woodwork, stairs...very charming. our room was large and beds comfortable. Location was perfect! Across street from Harbour and shopping was near. We were able to walk everywhere.

Quiet street but pretty close to everything.
The owner is really lovely. He even offered to give me a ride from the train station (it's a bit of a walk)

The friendly staff, great location and facilities. It was my first time in a shared room and although you can't choose roommates I enjoyed my stay. Multiple bathrooms, great kitchen and easy access to the hostel.
Hostel is right next to the market and a 5min walk from the nearest beach and city center, no better place.
Great location and fabulous room (top floor with balcony). The two ladies in reception were lovely - showing much patience and humour with my attempted Portugese. Bike was stored safely. Breakfast was great. Great stay / made by the reception ladies. ❤️
louis is a super friendly host who is very helpful. the hostel is in a good location and you can park your bicycle safely there. i would definitely come back :)
This is one of the best hostels I have been to. Luis, the maneger is so welcoming and nice. The vibe in the hostel is very homie and cozy, everyone knows everyone. The room was big and clean. Location is amazing (10 min from bus station, 5 from ferry, 5 from beach, 2 from main street). I didn't want to leave and will defently come back.

HIGHLY recommend this place. Overall, one of my best hostel stays. Great facilities, everything is super clean and works well. Communal areas are small enough that everyone hangs out together. Amazing included breakfast and optional home-style dinners. Good connections with local companies e.g. surfing lessons and they know the best parts of the town. Incredible staff - thanks sm Robyn, Luca, Pat, and Florence :))
It was brilliant, it had everything. Great location, easy walk to the seafront. Safe parking and a very amiable host! Last but not less a private swimming pool!
