I have been in Alvor many times, but first time in the hostel. I was pleasantly surprised with everything about Dunas. Apart from the questions I have answered, it was also run so well ansld so efficiently, from my experience. Would recommend highly ,and gladly return again

The location was good. There is a good empanada shop a few shops down. Tea and coffee and some snacks provided in the kitchen which is quite nice.

Place was super lovely, clean and in a great location. Staff were so kind and helpful. Full of young lively guests so lots of things happening in the hostel that you get enjoy. Pool is open until midnight which is amazing 🤩

Facilities and staff are great. The three Aussie girls running the pub crawls are so fun and really make the nights out here. The free sangria on the rooftop was a nice touch too and sky and all the reception staff were all super accommodating and can recommend day activities to do. Will definitely stay again!

Great location - less than 5 min walk to a range of shops, restaurants and bars and 10 min walk to the beach. Super friendly staff - Cristina and staff made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Optional everyday room cleaning. Property felt safe. Lovely outdoor dining area for breakfast every morning.
Really great location. The beach is a 10 minute walk and there are busses to Lagos and Portimão. The staff was really friendly and the facilities of the hostel were great: well equipped kitchen, large dorm, great common area. The hostel is cleaned every day by two very friendly ladies. Moreover, the price for a night was quite cheap which was totally worth it.
Great location, with supermarket around corner and just a short stroll to restaurants and bars. Beach only a 15/20 min walk away also. Apartment had everything you would need to cater for a great holiday with lovely balcony over looking the pool. Felt very safe and secure. Pool was lovely, just pity there are no loungers around it. Condominium very well maintained with cleaners, gardener and pool maintenance there every couple of days. Communication with Alex was easy, just waiting on the return of our security deposit.
This was one of the best hostels I stayed in. Must admit I hardly saw the other people in my dorm so it must have been a bit quieter when I stayed. It felt like I had a private room.
Super clean. Great facilities. A pool, lounge and kitchen. Helpful staff. Really close to the bus stop to take you up to neighbouring beaches and Portimau marina for a catamaran cruise.

10/10 I would recommend staying here if you want to say in Algarve on a budget. The hostel is clean, friendly staff and the best part of it all is the location. The hostel is not far from Praia da Rocha and there is a bus stop nearby if you don’t have a car. I love the fact that there is a kitchen where you can store your food. Great restaurants right in front of the hostel. It was my first time in a hostel, it was a great experience. My roommates were friendly.
I liked the cleanliness of the hostel. Best hostel I’ve went to. The staff was very interactive.
