Terrible Experience – The Worst Stay of My Life! 😡
I want to warn everyone planning to book this hostel – please read all the reviews, especially the 1-star ones. I made the mistake of trusting only the recent 5-star reviews, and it turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life. How the Problems Started:
I booked a room for 2 nights.
When we arrived, there was a girl at the reception who spoke nicely and gave a good first impression.
We liked Katowice, so we decided to extend our stay by one more night. We asked the girl at reception, and she extended our booking.
Mistake #1: We hadn’t seen the room yet when we decided to extend our stay.
The Shock came when we saw the Room for the First Time:
The room was tiny – smaller than our kitchen or bathroom at home.
The beds were misaligned – instead of being parallel, the beds were placed in a straight line, which meant my husband had to sleep with his head right above mine.
This made it extremely uncomfortable.
No WiFi and No Lift:
Our room was on the third floor, and there was no WiFi available there.
The building is very old, and there is no lift, so we had to climb several steep, high stairs with our luggage.
We reported these problems to the girl at reception, especially about:
The WiFi not working.
The beds being uncomfortable.
The lack of a lift.
She told us that another room was not available at that moment, but she promised to give us a different room the next day.
She also said she would inform her colleague about our request.
In evening when we came back a different receptionist (a man) was at the desk. I explained to him that his colleague had promised to change our room.
He confirmed that he had been informed about the room change and said we could move to the second floor next day. We were hopeful things would get better.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
If we talking about price/quality - expected value. Room is almost clean, but some smell goes from toilet. If you need cheap stand for 1 or 2 days, it's okay. If more, I do not recommend.
One of the nicest places we have ever stayed! Check in was smooth, everything was very clean, it was really big and spacious - we wish we could've stayed longer. The location is very good and felt very safe, and the car park has plenty of parking. Everything is well stocked and has everything you need. Thank you!!!

2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

And finally, a review
