Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
It was truly a home from home. The room was really comfortable and well equipped, and was exceptionally clean whilst also being homely.
The owners live in the main part of the house, but it is very private.
The shared terrace room upstairs is really cool, and the self serve snacks and fridge were cheaper than 7/11!
It was like a cross between a comfy BnB and staying with a friend, whilst being completely private. We only met the owners twice, once on check in and once on check out and they were very friendly.
Super friendly staff, making sure we were completely happy as guests. Very attentive without being obtrusive. Great location with stunning views over the Taal Lake and Volcano.
The view from the room is beautiful! It is a direct, unobstructed view of the Taal Lake/Volcano. The room is clean and comfortable, with amenities for convenience such as refrigerator, rice cooker, microwave, and water heater. The room also has microwavable plates and mugs/glasses. The beds can comfortably sleep five people. There is free wifi and Netflix. There is also free and safe parking. You can use Splendido's amenities for a charge, i.e., swimming pool, bowling.
It was beyond my expectation. The place is quiet, which I like. The staff are friendly and nice. The room is clean.
Considering its cheap price with its services and the place, its worth to stay. We had a great stay.
Great location for visiting Taal lake and a good view from the roof of the building. The building felt safe and secure, and was an easy check-in process.
