Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Excellent hotel! Great location and facilities. Rooms are comfortable and the free breakfast tasted great! Staff was friendly and very helpful. I will certainly go back from time to time.
From the moment I arrived, the owner and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hostel has a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, which made it easy to meet fellow travelers.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. I particularly appreciated the cozy common areas and there's a pool too! The location was perfect and just minutes away from the Santiago beach.
Friendly staff. Room was nice and comfortable. Pool was great for cooling off. The restaurant had tasty food and drinks. Nice breakfast with real coffee. Beach was 10 min away. You could rent bikes. The hostel organised transport.
Probably the best hotel in Camotes, we tried others but went back to Ocean Heaven. Room has good A/C and warm water, internatinal TV channels, internet is most of the time available. Car parking slots infront of the lobby. 2 pools and cheap laundry.
- great location, near Santiago beach
- beautiful view from the pool
- really peaceful with a lot of privacy
- good breakfast
- amazing and helpful staff
- towels were so soft and smelled really nice
- big and cosy room
- bonus point for cute dog
I enjoyed my stay at Camotes Backpackers so much! The property and rooms were clean and comfortable, beach is walking distance, and the Internet pretty reliable (unless there’s blackouts in the islands, but that doesn’t depend on the property anyway). Super good coffee and delicious whole wheat bread (which they bake themselves btw).
The owners of the place are super nice and helpful. I really felt like at home. 100% recommend.
