Cebu Backpackers Hostel, hotel in Bulacao

Located in Cebu City, within 500 metres of Colon Street and less than 1 km of Magellan's Cross, Cebu Backpackers Hostel provides accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property...

Room is nice and it’s quiet, good if you need some peace away from the hustle and bustle. There’s not much to do in Cebu City - maybe a day trip to the Sirao Gardens/Leah of Temple, check out the Plaza de Independencia and night markets close by. It’s a lay-over place - you don’t need more than 24 hours. Free water provided, a fridge which is useful and some decent food/coffee options within a 20-minute walk (check out Tightrope and Good Coffee co). Big shopping supermarket and money exchange 2 mins away - great if you want some fresh fruit and milk etc. Netflix addition is good as you can avoid going out but still have entertainer. Great for transfer to ferry or bus station!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

It's really cheap, and last time I really enjoyed, but this time was a nightmare. Las time I ended up in a odd room, so the window was to the front of the hostel, so I didn't listen to anything, THIS TIME THE WINDOW WAS IN BAR DIRECTION I HAVE HEARD LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Its super cheap and good, but make SURE YOUR WINDOW IS TO THE STREET NOT TO THE BAR . You can dry your laundry and wash in 3 hours

The hotel had very clean facilities. was not too crowded and felt very safe. The staff couldn’t have been any more helpful. The pool area got the sun all day, so perfect if you want a nice chilled place to stay before a flight. Free rum and Coke between 6-7 and free coffee all day was also great. Food at the hostel was also very reasonably priced and delicious. Would recommend as a solo female traveller
