Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Nice beach area. The rooms (all across the road from the beach) were clean and comfortable if a little tired. The air con worked well. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are restaurants and a little supermarket close by. Close to Matira Beach which happened to be more sheltered from wind while we were there. Cheaper than the 2 big resorts close by (whose restaurants are better but you can eat there without staying)

Great location, near Matira beach, market and tours. Louana was very helpful showing the house and giving tour recommendations. The house is modern with everything we needed and more. Great cost considering everything it had to offer.

Budget accommodation but very reasonably priced for Bora Bora. We rented e-scooters on site and the price was much cheaper than elsewhere. Shared bathroom and toilet but very clean. The room itself had no aircon but well ventilated with huge windows (partial view of the lagoon) and there is also a very powerful fan. Few minutes walk to the famous Matira Beach where you have views of the sunset. Excursions etc would probably pick you up at the nearby Intercontinental Le Moana which is just a 3 minutes walk away, very convenient.

Second time to Le Pearls - service continues to be exceptional, above and beyond! On our return, my husband discovered he had left his passport in the safe back in our room. The staff at Le Pearls were extremely accommodating and had my husband's passport in his hands before the airport check-in deadline. The hotel, accommodation, restaurants, food - all top-notch! We will be back again hopefully in the very near future!

While the location may not be optimum (Matira would have been better), this small hostel in a private home is without a doubt the most affordable option in the whole of Bora Bora. The host family was friendly and hospitable, the sleeping accommodation comfortable with several fans available to make the hunidity more tolerable, and the bathroom clean and functional. I thoroughly enjoyed my 5-night stay with Karren and her family, not to mention their cute little dog Vanilla.

The Village Temanuata is in a great location at Matira, with access to its own clean and tidy beach and near the public beach. It was a quiet and relaxing place to be especially with a veranda out of the wind. It was close to the restaurants and food shops. We had a small kitchen which was useful. The staff were all very friendly Compared to other hotels, this was a much cheaper option so we weren’t expecting luxury

The family you stay with are very kind and welcoming. As a solo traveler it really made my trip and made me feel at home. There is somewhere you can go in the evening opposite and it’s a 20minute walk to all the amenities you could need. Hostel is clean and safe!
