Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location, looking out on the sea. Breakfast was good. We joined the surfing lessons in the morning and another surf session in the afternoon - organised this when we arrived, very easy and accommodating. Giancarlo also gave us a lift to Lima when we left. Certainly recommend!

Very central, with the cleanest shared kitchen I have seen at a hostel yet and a lovely resident dog. Helpful hosts, a nice balcony upstairs, close to restaurants and the beach to go surfing and surf videos playing non stop downstairs for motivation :)

Juan, who manages the hostel, is a great guy. He knows the town as few do (and the town knows him). He is extremely friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable in what feels more like a friend hosting you than a regular hostel. Facilities are ok, but old and in constant improvement, as any aged property by the ocean. Juan does a great work of keeping the place up and extremely clean.

Great location close to waves and food and markets. Giancarlo made it very easy to communicate, rent equipment, and get to the surf.

CasaMar is in an excellent location, easy walk to surfing spots and restaurants, the area is safe and quiet. CasaMar is a great surfer's house, rooms are basic but clean and with private bathrooms, at least mine was. Just around the corner you will enjoy an amazing view of the beach below, great for sunsets. Patrice was great as a host and provided anything I needed to surf, I would go back.
