I recently stayed at Pariwana Hostel in Cusco and had an interesting experience. The hostel is large and conveniently close to the main square and Alpaca Expeditions, who were my tour guides for Machu Picchu.
Pariwana is a party hostel, with loud music playing frequently. They do provide ear plugs, which helps a bit. The room was clean and cleaned daily, which was great. The staff were nice and welcoming, often knocking on your door to get you involved in activities like karaoke night.
Overall, I would recommend Pariwana Hostel if you're looking for a lively, social atmosphere and don't mind the noise. It's clean and well-organized, but it lacks a quieter common area and good food options.

The view from the breakfast place and terrace was spectacular, overlooking the city and with the mountains on the background. Breakfast was good (eggs, bread, fresh juice, tea). The place was very close to the central square and to San Blas. The staff was helpful and stored our luggage in a locked place (for free up to 5 days).
Featuring free Wi-Fi in the common areas, Cuscopackers Hostels offers accommodations in Cusco. Free breakfast is included. Cusco's main square is a 13-minute walk away.

The hostel was easy to find. The staff was helpful. There are complimentary hot beverages available 24 hours a day. There is a large common area with a pool table, foosball, and TV.
I found it to be quiet and peaceful.
The room was small but very clean and had a small heater. The shower had the typical electric shower head to heat the water which is always a challenge but it was satisfactory.
The breakfast is basic, a fried egg, bread, and something like juice.
All and all a good value.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great hostel, phenomenal location and views, 5 minutes walk from the centre. Always kept very clean. Good showers. Strong fast WiFi. Clean and AMAZING kitchen full of utensils free to use. Helpful and friendly staff. Owner is very nice. Can rent towels n yoga mats for very cheap. Laundry service is very convenient.
This was honestly one of the best hostels I've EVER stayed in! The staff were so helpful and friendly and prepared amazing breakfast. I was able to store luggage during the day to go explore. The room was wonderful and super comfy beds, perfect shower experience. Great location from bus stop and central to the town and market. Highly recommend and I will go back often I love it so much!
By far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Incredible view, very cool vibe, amazing pool and chill out area, lovely home cooked food, very welcoming and the perfect place to relax and enjoy Pisac. I was meant to stay for 2 nights and expended my stay to over a week, I would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Excellent, very helpful staff. Absolutely amazing breakfast (thank you for best sandwiches, ladies!), great location and lovely vibe, full of arts on the hostel walls. Truly recommend.
Relaxing hostel with a great view. The lobby and common areas are very cute and relaxing. It is a comfortable, safe and power place with cute kittens and dogs. There is also a swimming pool. They have a pizza oven here and the pizza is very good! You must try it. And don't forget to order the pisco sour. Very tasty!
Wolf Totem is more than a hostel, it is a imaginative space with creating an experience for the traveler in mind. It’s definitely not an off the shelf backpacker hostel. Its perched high on a mountain side to take advantage of the views but close enough to walk in to town. The spaces are cozy and the food is delicious and well priced. Not to mention there is a good selection of Argentinian wines if you choose to imbibe. I would not hesitate to recommend.
This is the most beautiful and special hostel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. If you don’t “get” the owner, you may have a different experience. If you don’t “get” it’s because either you’re a broke hippie backpacker who wants to play their shitty cover of wonder wall in the common area or you’re a square. I totally got Ivan and he treated me like family. I was alone on my birthday and Ivan and his friend made me dinner and shared wine and cake with me. It meant a lot to me. The location is beautiful, relaxing, and magical.
The nicest, most helpful crew …
Me and my boyfriend had an amazing stay there, came for 3 days and stayed for 3 weeks because of the amazing energy of Pisac and this hostel ❤️
Kitchen, guitar and singing nights, cheap staying and much more … highly recommended!
