Great location, not a party hostel, lots of people from all over coming to check out the amazing hiking and mountain climbing that this part of the Andes has to offer. The staff are polite, English speaking, accommodating and attentive. Free breakfast in the mornings. Our room had a hot shower with good water pressure which if you've ever visited LATAM you know is a luxury. TV, comfy bed, the hostel works with other hostels and local tour companies to offer a variety of outings at excellent prices. We just had a lovely stay overall and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Krusty to anyone looking for excellent accommodations at a reasonable price.

Don’t book anywhere else! The room was great, clean and spacious. Erik our host was absolutely incredible; he picked us up from the bus station and was always available to answer questions about hikes (as he is a guide). He showed us around the city, took us to the mirador and we even did laguna 69 with him and his family. And when our bus to Lima was canceled, he truly saved us by arranging a colectivo and giving directions on how to get to Lima before our flight. A simple breakfast was provided most days and when we left too early we asked for some bread the night before to take with us. The shower was decent, hot with good pressure except for one day. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the center. Overall, for the price and the incredible hospitality of Erik, it’s one of the best places we have stayed.

Stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting Huaraz and had a great time. Rooms were clean and the hostel was in a great location. Ivan also helped to arrange all of my treks and day tours that I wanted to go on.
The staff was really nice, it allowed us to check-in earlier as they had a room already available. The breakfast was so far the best compared to other cheap hostels around Peru: not just the usual tea/coffee, bread, jelly and butter, but it was combined with an omelette / eggs and avocado /other things, something different every day. I really appreciated it.

the managers of the hostel (will and his wife) are extraordinary people who will help you throughout your trip to Huaraz. it offers cheaper activities than city tours. If I come back to this city, I would go straight back to them
Wil and Paula are fantastic hosts and do everything they can to make sure you have a wonderful stay. They always checked in to see if we were happy with our stay and if we needed anything. The hostel was located in a great location walking distance to the main plaza, supermarket and many restaurants. The breakfast included was great and different every day we were there. The hostel has a nice homely feel to it and the rooms are great value for money. I highly recommend to stay here. I hope to visit again one day!
I was travelling alone and it was the best hostel! It was easy to meet new people and hang out together. We could share our experiences of tours and the stuff was always helping and we'll organized. I also went to the climbing tour which was amazing! I would recommend this hostel 100%
