The hotel is well kept and the rooms comfortable. The location being only a block from the plaza is excellent and the street relatively quiet.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
One of the best hostel I’ve been in my life. Super clean, hot showers, curtain on the dorm bed.
Amazing family vibe with common areas that makes it easy to meet other travelers.
Paul the owner was super helpful !
I’m not surprised by how many people end up prolonging their stay !
After 9 months on the road, easily one of the best hostels I have stayed in. Quiet, safe, perfectly positioned in front of the sea, and close to many eating establishments. Great staff, and everything very relaxed.
The hostel has the perfect location. Waking up you can already hear and see the sea. The staff is super friendly and creates a great atmosphere where you feel at home immediately!
Surfboards can be rented for cheap the whole day.
Great location, very friendly staff and a very relaxed vibe. Had some surf lessons with Randall who works at the hostel and they were excellent. The breakfast options were also the best I’ve had on my travels in South America, and the lunch and dinner was good and well priced too.
The hostel is really great. Well equipped big kitchen, lots of communal areas where you can hang out and socialize, but also enough more cosy private spaces with hammocks. Dorm was spacious, clean, comfy bed and had curtains on the beds. Only 1 minute away from the ocean and one of the best hostels I have stayed in so far in Peru!!
The atmosphere at this hostel was really special! The family who run it make it like feel like a home. They are super welcoming and it was easy to mix the the few other backpackers there due to its size. Jon can do surf lessons with you - he was a great teacher! The kitchen is well equipped so we made breakfast together every night which was really special. Chill vibes here, it’s know for having parties but we didn’t have any in my time there which suited me.
Excellent! 1 minute to beach, chill vibes and really well run. Big clean kitchen, filtered water, hot water, comfy beds with lights, plugs, basket. The owner is so helpful, daily yoga classes, a huge cuddly turtle, surf options too.
Best hostel in Huanchaco for sure! Stay here but book ahead it is often full!
Amazing, unsuspecting hostel - we weren’t expecting much but were very pleasantly surprised. The hostel had unlimited coffee in the morning, a great atmosphere, cheap yoga and loads of places to chill. We had a great few days relaxing.
Helpful friendly staff, great location on the beach, comfy bed and room with everything needed, good kitchen, strong Internet, clean relaxed hostel, very good price, surfboards and suits available
Super nice place and super helpful and friendly owner. We were able to check in very early in the morning as we arrived with the night bus from Huaraz - without any additional fees - highly appreciate that. Further, it was possible to leave our luggage in the Hostel for a few hours after check out. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a cozy, budget-friendly room in a great location.
