It was fine for a short stay. The rooms were very compact but had good storage under the bed for luggage. It's very central in the city, and close to the Intercity Bus Stop. It's good to have one shared toilet shower within the room, as well as other shared bathrooms available outside that.

The atmosphere, the facilities, the staff.
The beds are great, and they have a nice tv room and Ping pong table.
Also they organize some fun activities regularly.
It’s a great place to meet nice people :)

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location, so many bars and eatieries in the area. Very clean and spacious shared areas and overall a great vibe in the hostel, which I enjoyed as a solo female traveller. Loved how serious they are about the quiet hours too!
Great location by bayfair mall. Main highway through Mount is close by buy didn't notice noise from vehicles. 3 big rooms and kitchen/lounge. Great for budget travelers.
This was a very comfortable and affordable stay in a great location for my purposes. The shower was one of the best I've encountered at a New Zealand hostelry. The kitchenette was well appointed.
Great location with good views and very safe parking. Everything was super clean and the place was nice and warm. Excellent bathroom and great selection of breakfast food!
Good quality coffee, lovely big room, the heated towel rail worked, helpful pleasant staff, easy and safe access to the carpark and a great location for us. Also the television had the channels we wanted.
One of the best hostels where I have been! Great people, avery clean and the best kitchen ever. Also, there's a beautiful view from the common space.
If you go to Tauranga, you have to stay at Wanderlust!
Real friendly safe environment
Pete was amazing I turned up late and once I settled in he showed me around the place and was very helpful and welcoming . Good dude.
Great location only a few minutes from everything but off the busy rds
Great location, near lots of restaurants and cGe and 5mins walk from the bus stop to take you to Mt Maunganui which has the best beaches! The balcony is amazing, and so lovely to have breakfast and dinner out there. Rooms are pretty basic but beds are comfy, the bunk beds shake alot but that's pretty standard in hostels. Busy hostel with lots of people.
