Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The location was good. Pretty sunset views from the hostel garden. Free parking was very convenient. Cheap stay. Kayak and surfboard rentals were available.
Great location and lovely people in this hostel. Even though my stay was very brief, they made me feel very welcome and at home. The surfing was amazing!
Location central Raglan, very pretty but for the money we paid the room was dire, low quality backpacker's at best. You get what you get at the last minute but we paid well and got a super budget back room. The staff of the establishment were so kind, and probably laughing behind their hands. The kitchen outvents were right behind our window. It was hot, smelly amd really disappointing.
Great location right in town, only a few steps from all the cafes and bars. Surfing gear and transport to the beach available. Very cozy, real hostel atmosphere. Easy to meet other travellers and make friends. Chilled surfer accommodation.
It is a real backpackers and not just a bed space! It's set in the beautiful village of Raglan. The hostel offers a seated area with a view over the water. There are super facilities and areas where one can socialise. The staff are friendly and efficient. I have stayed here several times. Book early as it is very popular and there are very few budget properties in Raglan.
Raglan Backpackers is the best hostel i have seen so far.
Location is good, the people are amazing & the have a hot tub!
Everything is clean and tidy and the rooms are also very nice :)
