Everything was extremely clean and cozy. Kitchen was well-kept and had good amenities. Loved the books, games, movies and instruments made available to all guests - was perfect for a rainy christmas day.

It’s one of the best Backpacker Hostels which are still working! A stay like in the good old days of BBH! No luxury, but lots of heart. Clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and friendly hosts. Brillant location close to Christchurch and on your way to the West Coast.
Service outstanding friendly thoughtful said they put heat pump on to warm room exchange out bunk room to dormitory so we could have bottom beds showed where everything was explained wifi codes not was a problem
Lovely hostess, beautiful surroundings, interesting companions in the chickens and roosters on the doorstep, and warm clean comfortable accommodation with peaceful views and a safe feeling. Very keen to recommend further.
it was such a lovely Hostel and really well looked after the owners were so nice and the kitchen was great with a oven ! having a code for the each bedroom doors felt so secure.
The backpackers was clean & well appointed, and staff were helpful. We arrived on some very dirty bicycles, which they allowed us to wash and store overnight in a locked garage.
The property is in a great location, it's in walking distance to everything. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this a 💯 place to stay. I absolutely loved the spa bath, I will be returning 😊 in the near future.
