Everything was neat and the place is spacious and comfortable.
Under new management from mid 2022 and just 80 metres from Paihia Beach, Peppertree Lodge & Backpackers features 3 tennis courts and a barbecue area with outdoor seating.

Off season, we were only 2 in a 6-person dorm, that was really nice.
The common space with the kitchen/sofas/big TV is good to watch movies and meet people. There is everything you need in the kitchen.
A hairdryer was provided in the dorm, and earplugs in the common bathroom. Nice outside spaces.
And most of all, the price! So good for what you get!! I recommend 100% to stay there.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
We had a lovely stay at The Studio, it was very comfortable and in a great location. We booked on short notice after having trouble with our van and John could not have been anymore accommodating, he was an absolute gentleman from greeting us when we arrived to seeing us off when we were leaving!. He was very informative on the location and gave us great recommendations on what to do and where to eat. I would highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay again.
Great location,nice and quiet. You have your own front door with the chalets. We were made to feel very welcome and were given great suggestions of places to eat and visit whilst we were there.
Good value for money, room was decent size with a big bed and single bunk beds, and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of blankets, pillows and towels available. Great location, close to town. We didn't have a chance to explore and use facilities other than what was in our unit/room.
