Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
I wasn't expecting much for the price because it is cheap in my opinion, but the stay at the hotel was awesome - great staff, good location, and i liked the sauna/spa booking too. Good room size and comfortable bed. This hotel delivers a lot for the price.
The place was dated but had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and with the electric blankets made for a great nights sleep. Great location so was able to walk down to get dinner while the kids loved the big spa bath.
The house is old, but it has so much atmosphere! The owners are absolutely wonderful, so friendly and involved.
It really felt like a home in the hostel. There are great places to just chill out, but also a great garden with table if you do want to hang out with other people.
It's cheap and location is super! I would recommend!!
The host was very nice and the hostel is located very close to the main shopping area of Blenheim. It had a very big kitchen with everything u could ever need, a nice lounge and veranda. The room (in my case a 6 bed female only dormitory) was big enough for all of us and our luggage.
Yvonne was extremely accommodating. Great location, brilliant layout for our family and it was a safe and secure unit. it was extremely tidy and clean too.
It was fine for one night, though the room (backpacker) was a little more basic than I had expected. Bed was comfortable and I felt safe there. Convenient location if you've got a car and you're heading to Picton for the ferry. The management were helpful and phoned to give me late arrival instructions.
Great location. Just out of earshot of the highway. Beautiful surroundings.
Breakfast at Vines village across the road was very good.
Like the fact that a tunnel was there for safe crossing of fast moving traffic on highway to Vines village.
