The room was beyond our expectations! We booked this hostel because of the price and location. It is a very close proximity from the train and we were able to walk from the train to the apartment (in the snow) with no problem. There is a 7/11 across the street which was very convenient for our first late night (we did not arrive until 11pm). Follow the instructions via the email to get the key and you won't have an issue. There are a few bars downstairs which was nice to grab a cocktail and observe the Oslo night scene. The apartment is a convenient location to walk to town and the museums. And if you're not a walker the train is right there. Many cute cafe's and restaurants on the block itself. The building and the buildings around are gorgeous.
The room itself was spacious, warm and the bed was comfortable. We had a couch, tv, coffee table, and plenty of space to unpack/repack our 4 suitcases. The common room and kitchen were very nice and clean. We only used the kitchen to make a cheeseboard, but you can easily cook up a full meal. The bathroom was well stocked and clean. The only thing I would suggest with a shared bathroom situation is to use the toilet/shower at low peak times! We had to sometimes wait a bit to use the shower - this depends on the other guests of course! But all the guests were respectful and everything was clean during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, excellent breakfast and efficient staff especially Mr. Pal, the receptionist. He is respectful, supportive and efficient. If I will ever come to Norway again, then it will be at this Hostel.

Breakfast was good and offered ample choice. The staff was helpful. The shared spaces in the hostel are quite spacious and surprisingly comfortable. It is a hostel and you will encounter (groups of) people quite different from those you will see at the usual business hotels.
It is in good condition, nice but simple rooms, and the breakfast was also actually very good for being a hostel. Staff was absolutely kind and serviceminded. And you can get an additional extra sandwich snack to go, quite cheap. The room, and bathroom, was functional and very clean. Easy access by car or MC. Free parking.
Hostel Oslofjord is located in Zone 1 in Oslo, in a nice quite green neighborhood, which is very important for visiting Oslo. Very friendly and thoughtful staff. Hostel with a high standard of very clean rooms with private bathrooms and clean facilities. Excellent experience in Oslo
