Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
People should be aware that this is the cheapest accommodation in the country, so having that in mind, you cannot expect too much. Frank has his rules and he makes it perfectly clear that in order to stay there you have to follow them stricly. I took that very seriously, cleaned after mynself, recycled properly, wiped everything after use, and spent there 7 days. We had absolutely no problems. Along the way, I made some lifelong friends at Frank's.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere inside the hostel, meeting and cooperating with people from different countries, as well as the self-sufficiency concept promoted by the host.
I really liked the atmosphere in Frank's hostel, everyone was nice and respectful of others. The house was really clean. Frank also let me borrow one of his bikes.
Overall I had a really good time there, thank you Frank!
First floor is restaurant and lots of customers, therefore as solo lady traveller l felt safety. I can see gergous church from the window. Lots of green, flowers, old buildings, beautiful place.
Great communication before and during our stay. The dogs were very welcome. The property was well kept, and there was safe parking. The breakfast was complete and tasty. The location of Hush was excellent.
Great location and facilities... a dip in the pool was much needed after a long day biking across Germany into the Netherlands. Hosts were wonderful and breakfast was lovely. Great facilities, restaurants and bars are very close by. Highly recommended
Great location. Has great staff. Has an elevator which tipped the scales in deciding to stay at West End versus Lambert
