Good location from 10 min walk from the waterfront area, many places to eat nearby. Nice self-made breakfast with tea/coffee, toast with different toppings, bananas, peanuts... I also liked a chance to leave my big backpack to storage after check-out.

Location is extremely convenient to awesome bars, cafes and restaurants and to Kuching Waterfront. House deco takes you back to 1960/70s vibe. Pretty much self service / check-in/out. Owner/ Manager is super responsive, and easy to deal with via WhatsApp. Let me leave my stuff and take a shower well after I have checked out. Never once saw any staff there, but somehow the place is well kept and clean. I stayed on the ground floor and did not use the upper floors or the kitchen.

Clean, aircond is in good condition even though it was cheap hotel or hostel. The location is at the center of the city. Bedsheets was clean and smell good. Most importantly the towel they provide is clean and just like 5 start rated hotel
It was a nice little hostel for backpackers. I stayed in multiple rooms during traveling back and forth. The women in charge is super lovely and very helpful. For the very low price everything was nearly perfect.
Nurul was really helpful and patiently answered all my questions. The whole vibe of the hostel is authentic, very helpful and budget friendly for backpackers. And the people are friendly. It provides lots of useful information on the front desk, for example where to visit, how to book. And the location is very central, you can get everything you need by walking distance. I end up staying there for 7 days straight.
It's located at the heart of the city, restaurants and convenience stores are just a walking distance. Grab is also easy to get, and the small boat 'sampan' is also always on standby if you want to go to the other side of the river to enjoy the local food and 'kuih lapis' for a cheaper price. And the view at night is really nice. My family and I enjoyed our stay, everything is clean, the place itself is safe, it's comfy and very spacious, and the host is very clear with the information on how to check into the premise.
QuiickCat hostel is a gem of Kuching. The hostel is well located, near excellent restaurants and cheap drinks. The host is absolutely incredible- she was in contact before I arrived and provided thorough instructions on how to visit the most common spots! Beyond that the rooms are clean and beds are comfy- breakfast is always available and the best coffee in a hostel ever( a proper coffee machine is available for guest use!) I ended up spending over a week here!
Great location and nice price for low-budget travellers. Very near to city centre and food court. Also, the owner prepared tourist information for sharing, which was very useful for backpackers.
