Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
I think the lobby of this hotel is great and very unique. There are many tables in the duplex lobby, which is very suitable for backpackers to communicate and study together. There are also many cabinets for us to store our belongings safely. The room is also very clean. The kitchen is also very convenient. I feel very warm and cozy here as if I am at home. The boss is also very friendly. There is also a rooftop terrace which is very comfortable and has a beautiful view.
Location, near the bakery, Oxxo convenience store and 8 mins walk to the cathedral town centre.
Great staff who speak fluent English!
Suprisingy comfy bunk beds in the female dormitory, although no ladder to get up.
We stayed 4 nights at Tres Fuentes. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The grounds are large and very well kept. There are only 6 rooms in this boutique hotel so you get personalized service. The rooms are large and the bedding is luxurious. We had made to order breakfast and happy hour margaritas, all delicious. The hotel is across from a large park and we walked to the center of town every day. Great location. We felt safe even in the evening. We are planning to stay at Tres Fuentes again soon.
Peaceful and quiet hostel. Very friendly owner. The hostel is at a central and safe, quiet neighborhood. From my understanding it's the only hostel in San Miguel de Allende. Towels provided. Also free water refill.
Breakfast was great. The patio is very nice to relax or have a chat with others.
This hotel and hostel just opened and has been fully renovated. Amazing owner and staff are very welcoming! Some of them helped teach me some Spanish. Great location in safe central neighborhood makes it easy to walk to everything. Super clean with comfortable beds!
Not a good atmosphere, no attempt to facilitate this. Few people there. Otherwise standard hostel, good beds and locker. Cheap breakfast, only cereal and drinks.
Lovely hostel with beautiful outside space, a great place to chill out. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet and our beds were made every day. We also had a nice balcony. Laundry was cheap and all clothes were folded beautifully for us afterwards. Great location near the centre, local markets and bus routes (and delicious coffee at the Lavender Café!)
I like everything ! Great location with good price! Staffs are super friendly and helpful. The hostel have space for washing and drying clothing which is perfect for backpackers like my friends and I. The breakfast is delicious! I love the coffee!
