I really enjoyed having breakfast here. It was at a decent time ( 9am-10am), so not to early. Irene, the owner was very sweet and had stories to tell. She took my into the city and showed me around while she was out running errands. Zaq, is the artist who has painted the murals throughout the hostel. I got a chance to meet her and she also was so sweet as to take me into the city center to show me around. The Hostel is located in the middle of the alley, you will be climbing and descending steep stairs, this brings me to tell you that all the exercise is totally worth the views! The wifi here was great and the room and restroom where clean.

The staff were so nice and beds are very clean and comfortable. It’s walkable from the bus terminal. You need to take a bus to get to Centro but it wasn’t a big problem. Breakfast is offered.

I liked the shower, it was spacious and the pressure of the water was good enough which is rare apparently in Mexico.
Surprisingly they didn't charge me for letting my stuff in the locker after I checked out and that was quite nice from the owner. I mean, I stayed in hostales in Querétaro and San Miguel de Allende and they didn't do it either but since they charged me 50 MXN for "late check in" which I have never heard of in my life, and I hold a diploma in Hospitality and Tourism and have worked in the industry as well...
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location, small and comfy room, it has a lift. Parking is a bit far, however you take your car there and they take you back to the hotel, which makes it safe to not let your car to a valet.
I think this hotel is great, it's a few minutes walk from the city center, and it's very safe and no one bothers you. The staff are great, it feels like home, I'm a backpacker and I love it here, highly recommend this hotel in Guanajuato.
-Location is convenient.
But the hostel is above the Japanese restaurant that you have to find the restaurant first then you can find the entrance to the hostel.
- 15% discount dining at the restaurant for inhouse guests
-recently renovated.
-valuable price comparing to nearby accommodation
-the biggest one-bed room located on the top floor provided with more privacy.
-staying for one night is okay for budget travelers.
Sergio is super welcoming and make you feel like at home. You can use everything in the House which has everything you need for cooking or whatever you need. Moreover its one of the cheapest option in Town and is really worth it.
Great location, 5’ from city center but in a residencial area.
We slept on the couch which is in the living room, where another person is also sleeping. Nevertheless we knew that and there are some curtains that separate you from the rest of the room pretty well.
Room was a good size, well designed and clean. Kitchen was new with good appliances, although only one cooker so we did have to wait to cook at times. The area is slightly outside of the main zone but much preferred as it's quieter (there was a daily parade while we were there!). The hostel is at the start of the trail to hike La Bufa, and there's a lovely and cheap greengrocer within a 2m walk. Rooms were cleaned daily. The hostel was good for meeting other travellers.
The staff were really nice and the hostel is in a great location. It's got a nice kitchen next to the terrace. So it's perfect if you want to cook your own food and sit out on the terrace enjoying the views. Which are pretty nice! It's a great place to meet people with a good mix of English and Spanish speakers.
The staff is amazing. Ani and Alex are the heart of the hostel and make the stay amazing!! Without them it wouldn't be so good. They're funny, friendly, super flexible. Beds are comfy. The private room is just amazing! Its huge. The dorm is also nice, small (not too many people) and comfy. Location is perfect. Food is amazing downstairs (the only good sushi I found in mexico) its cheap and delicious ans hostel stayers get 15% discount. It makes up for the lack of kitchen. Also several vegan options!
This was one of the best hostels I have stayed in so far. Clean neat modern rooms. Beds are fantastic. New bed linen and clean towel daily. Big open kitchen with all necessities. And the owner Israel is a fantastic host. I would recommend this hostel to everyone!
