The staff and the facilities were perfect. Nice, clean, rooms. Very comfortable bed, and a strong, hot shower. A full kitchen, if you want to cook or just store your food in the frig. There are many areas to just hang out, either by the pool/bar, which usually has loud music, or on another level if seeking more quiet. The location was great. 50 pesos from the ADO for a taxi, or a 15-17 minute walk, which is well marked.

I really enjoyed it everything was great. The AC was not turned on but i was not uncomfortable at night. It was excellent value. Make sure to bring some treats for the kitties.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The rooms are massive with lots of storage for luggage (back packers in mind). Good TV that works, AC and you get towels. Great location to the ferry port (I was getting the water taxi in the morning to go to Sam Pedro) it was a 5min drive. Strong WiFi and the provide cakes and coffee for breakfast which was helpful having to get up super early for the water taxi. I met two of the staff members and they were both really helpful!
Great location, close to the centre of town, and right on the Malecon. The hotel was pretty quiet, and the pool was good. The room was small but perfectly fine for a short stay. Breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful, and friendly.
Friendly reception and staff, allowing storage of backpacks if arriving early. A proper backpacker place with good vibe, interesting people and good advice available for forward transport. Good internet and quiet at night. Incredibly cheap beer with a nice rooftop to enjoy it on. Good location. Definitely return on way back.
This hotel might not be super-modern and you not gonna get any great view from your room, but it was comfortable for a two-nights stay, plus it's really cheap. I felt safe there, it's very close to everything, there are shops literally next door, the ado station is just across the road, the reception staff is very friendly and helpful, wifi worked really well.
Kind, helpful staff | great location, just a few blocks from the pier (water taxi from Belize) | clean and quiet | solid WiFi | hot shower and good water pressure, soap dispenser | filtered water and coffee provided | good-sized lockers provided | didn't have pesos at check-in (banks were closed); allowed to pay next day after banks opened (greatly appreciated) | dorm room was air conditioned at night (9pm - 9am) | good mattress, slept well | nice guests, good hostel vibe |
Fantastic staff, super friendly, supper chatty. Which I always love! Feels more welcoming when you can become friends with whoever is on staff.
The bunk beds were comfortable. The kitchen was relatively clean. And had some nice seating areas to meet other travellers and chat. Overall a very welcoming hostel.
In a great location really, less than 10 minutes walk to the Malecon and ferry terminal... down Avenida de los Heroes, which is quite lively until late at night - so coming home feels very safe.
Staff very friendly and coffee and croissant (pastry) provided in the morning from 7am. Feels very safe and secure.
Functional TV and air con (which could be a little colder). En suite bathroom and hot water was great. Soap and shampoo provided.
Very quiet (but it wasn't busy). Good internet connection.
The hostel has a nice vibe and the receptionists are super friendly. The mattress and the pillow are comfy. The bunk beds are stable, you don't feel much of the vibrations, if the other person moves. Drinking water is provided.
