Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
A perfect place to experience culture a bit different from the rest of Latvia with really friendly people and hotel reminding of a Soviet time county centre rooms looking like dormitory from a bygone era.
Great value for money with all the necessary in place and really good restaurant at the basement.
Great location in a beautiful town.
My family fled Ukraine war via Latvia, and stayed here for a night, it was a lovely break from the events. The night staff on their arrival and the receptionist were absolutely delightful, friendly and happy to feed them despite the late arrival, morning receptionist, unfortunately, not so pleasant.
Lovely place altogether, just bring your own toiletries.
