This is really a cool place to have an extraordinary stay during the night!
Staying for one night in prison, with just no comfort at all, it is scary and adventurous at the same time!
If you love to have a special experience, just do it! Very artistic also, how the prison rooms have been renovated.
And also I was stunned by the absolutely functional and clean shower and toilet facilities! Everything is very simple and basic, but even without the comfort of a hotel room, I had a really good night after the long trip with the ferry to LIepaja and definitely woke up rested. I did not expect this at all! Breakfast was also okay and you can eat in the outside in the garden when the weather is good.

Great location and value for money. Good breakfast and the restaurant "Upe" itself. Super staff, upgraded the room upon request and were very friendly. Free parking in front of the hotel or private parking in a closed parking area. Room was clean and tidy.
Great location- 5 minutes walking to the beautiful beach of Liepaja ( beach is absolutely stunning, 500km long, sandy- with white fine sand).
7 minutes walking to local market- amazing Latvian market for vegetables, wild berries , meat pavilion.
10 minutes walking to main city square and also children’s playground, tennis courts, cafes, restaurants…

The bed was fine and spacious.
Good breakfast, but the breakfast room itself is very small, so it gets crowded. Around 9:30 AM there weren't enough tables.
We stayed at the cheapest room and while the decor resembled school camp, the beds were very comfortable and everything was clean.

Stunning hotel in a great location. The hotel are beautifully designed and the rooms were really spacious. The breakfast was very good and if there is good weather, its possible to eat in the beautiful courtyard.
There was also an option to store our bikes safely inside, which we very much appreciated!
the place is amazing, very cheap and in great location. right outside the building theres restaurants and shops in distance of 1 min and beach is just a short walk thru park. the apartment itself is very nice and cozy the staffs were very nice would definitaly stay again!
