Nothing, especially the guy at reception during checkin.
He was chatting with a girl and did not give priority to checkin. I had to interrupt the long chatter, but it was taken badly by the guy. He game me a bad look and said aggressively that he was dealing with a customer. (a lie as I understood some of the conversation). A message to management: CHECKING BEFORE CHATTING!!!

Great location and lovely staff who were so helpful and made our stay on motorcycles very comfortable and looked after us with a table and able to watch the euro final .
We stayed 2 nights on a motorcycle trip through Luxembourg and Germany. Underground parking for the bike was safe and secure, really nice pool and wonderful town to visit. Plenty of bars and restaurants although we ate in the hotel which had a good selection on the menu and well priced. Well worth staying and would recommend.
Perfect for our group of 9 motorcyclists. Huge secure garage for our bikes. Great location, lots of choice for drinks & meals in Vianden. Rooms are basic but comfortable, met our needs perfectly. Restaurant and bar reasonably priced, food & staff excellent. We will definitely return.
I loved the place for 2 reasons :
1) the fantastic view over the castle
2) the simple style of hostel brought me back to old school days. Old beds and common shower (gender separated of course) like in old days. Not many places left where you can get this feeling.
Also, there is friendly staff, they told me which restaurants have reasonable prices and they let me deposit my luggage at lunchtime.
Great breakfast buffet.
Cheapest option in a small town which has mostly expensive hotels only.
Great location if visiting Vianden.
Room was very clean and had lots of appliances.
There's a petrol station next door that also has a small budget friendly shop.
