I booked this hotel so I could rest before a 3 AM flight back home. The location was PERFECT. Right at the lagoon. I had a few nice hours to relax, watched the sunset over the water, before that very late flight. It's peaceful and quiet. You basically forget you're near a very busy road. And a good restaurant is right next door, also right on the water. Taxi to the airport is about 10 minutes.

A great BUDGET hotel, in an old style, it is a bit dated, but ULTRA clean, in a great location, with fantastic access to the beach. Two very friendly dogs, that love to be fussed. A great open, fan cooled, dinning area over looking the pool. The food and juices were reasonably price and good quantity. Good WiFi in all areas of the hotel and powerful water pressure
Great location close to airport, on beach with an amazing rooftop pool and bar, food was outstanding. Room had everything we needed with little extras like toothbrush. We ate at the restaurant and food was excellent, good choice and surprisingly cheap.
I was traveling alone and stayed there one night before my flight in the morning. The owner was super helpful. He organized a cheap transport to the airport for me, gave me tips where to walk around and what to do, cooked some sri lankan food for my last rupees and woke up in the morning to make sure I get safe to the airport. In general I felt really safe. He spoke good english and was really supportive. I could pay with card, the wifi was working good in and outside the room and the room was clean with fresh towels.

Back to house exhausted after long plane ride was happy to curl up on comfy matress. They gave me water. Morning sunrise through coconut trees beautiful. Mr Ranjith organised me a tuk tuk tour. Breakfast was carbs and milky tea. The house is huge. Everything was easy and comfortable. Mr Ranjith sat and helped me organise travel on a budget. Excellent stay. Safe, clean, and great shower pressure.
I stayed here on my last day in Sri Lanka to leave for the airport.The rooms are very clean and good. All basic toiletries were available and it was all you need on your transit days.The host was very kind n friendly, helped with early morning tuk tuk for 1500.He also gave good suggestions for eateries nearby which were super convenient and budget friendly.I highly recommend this place 🙂..Airport is just 15 min away and I was traveling solo n felt safe n comfortable here.
This was a great start to our time in Sri Lanka!
Even though we arrived late at night, Derrick, the host, picked us up at the airport for a small fee. The room is very big, clean and has its own bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast in the morning is tasty (especially the papaya juice). You need a tuctuc to get into the City which is very cheap (1USD). Derrick and his wife are lovely people and we felt safe and at home.
Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful manager and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hostel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional.
