Nice private room, quiet location on large road, but away from city center noise. Being in Nuwara Eliya was a welcome break from heat! Comfortable bed, room had a small table with two chairs and a sofa bed. Nice that the wall socket had two USB ports. Large spacious bathroom with great hot water. Nice western breakfast of fruit, omelette and toast. We hiked to Single Tree Hill and to Lover’s Leap Waterfall from the house. Haran the host spoke excellent English and his multicultural background enables him to be super welcoming. When he offered to cook dinner for us, I asked to watch his preparations and spent a delightful two hours learning about making curries, as well as learning more about the culture. Dinner was an excellent value as the portions were generous and food was freshly prepared.

Great location for walking along the railway line, making it very good if catching the train for the scenic trip Nanu Oya to Ella.or to Kandy. He enabled us to check in a little earlier and gave us a few ideas of things to do, such as walking to the local waterfall. He would have cooked an evening meal for us but we chose a place in the village where there were a lot of locals eating.
I Loved The Place So Much .. A best and pleasant environmental place. The signature of the name of the place was shown by their creativity. For the first time i stayed in blue bed hostel i felt.very comfort. Especially i appreciate their approach very much. Best Breakfast Best Tea Best Stay. Everything Were Best. I Wish All The Best To Develop More. 😉
lovely family, very friendly. we actually didnt stay there over night and just stored out luggage during the day, as it was pretty cheap, but the rooms where clean, as well as the bathroom. 5 min drive to the city center or train station.
It is very simple hostel with very basic facilities but friendly and helpful owners. They offered to pick and drop us off at the station and we got free welcome tea and cake upon arrival.
It was great value for money. It is just a five minute walk from the train station. Very beautiful view and a great location.
The manager was very courteous and listened to all our problems and guided us to the best
