Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This new hotel has a great location and it’s very clean. Initially we wanted to stay 3 nights but we loved it so much that we asked for 2 extra nights. The staff is very kind and very helpful ! The boss found a taxi for us to go to the Kyrgyz border which wasn’t easy to find ! They really made our stay exceptional
Convenient and colourful dormitory, ok for a short stay. Shared rooms are big. There was not a lot of other options for cheap stays in Turkestan.
There was nearly no other Guests during m'y stay, so I cannot tell if the common place is ok to meet people.
There is a nice restaurant downstairs
Don't forget to visit Otrar, while you are there.
The location and cleanliness of hostel was great, spacious and very clean.
Only the issu the size kf toilet, felt very narrow and smelly sometimes,
Apart of that everything went well.
The Hotel/Hostel «Nazar» is nice hotel. Everything was nice. The perfect place from which to explore Turkistan city. Very modern, comfortable and warm room. Great TV, electric sockets to charge for devices and really excellent hot shower, so easy to use. Friendly staff and good people. I love hospitality Turkistan. The Hotel/Hostel «Nazar» is very central within easy reach of Karavan Saray, Library Farab, eating places, buses and etc. Great location, great service, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend. Thank you!
Believe me I can bet you this is the best hostel I had been to. It is such a cozy and comfortable for me I am sure you will like to the receptionist girl was very helpful as I am from India and had the language barrier but she helped a lot and she has helped me to whatever I had asked
I was the first guest at Turkistan Gallery Hostel, and I highly recommend it as it has been one of my highlights during my trip to central Asia.
It's just a short walk from the main square. The place is super clean, and the bedroom had proper curtains so I could sleep after sunrise. Breakfast was huge, fresh, and delicious, and the owners were really friendly, helpful and helped me to organise my trip in turkistan.
It’s not a youth hostel, it’s a place for low-income people to live, but the place is fine and worker is helpful, there is hot water and heating (probably, it’s not cold in the room), and the price is the lowest in Booking.
