Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Sorya Guesthouse was clean, comfortable, in a great location, wifi worked well, a very nice breakfast, it had a locked area for parking, and the staff were always pleasant, friendly, and helpful.
Lovely homestay in Kratie. Great location, great food and friendly staff. The rooms are big and clean, and the most comfortable bed I have found while travelling!
I returned after my first stay. This really is a proper traditional nice hostel. There’s life in the dorm, it’s all run by a family with children that run around, tours can be booked here. The bed was cosy and the view from the balcony stunning. There’s lockers provided and the WiFi was strong enough to work. If in Kratie and on a budget this is definitely a very good choice, also location wise.
Really nice hostel really near the night market. The beds were comfy (curtains and sockets on each one). The room had a double bed in it as well which was strange but I didn't stay there. There's a bathroom near the dorm and another one upstairs. It was very clean. The lovely owner also offered extra fans as it was so hot.
Downstairs was crowded but there was space to sit.
The owner spoke great English and very super lovely. Laundry also smelt amazing when they washed my clothes.
Great location, rooms are basic but comfortable and have everything you need. There is a restaurant which does really nice and cheap food and also close to other restaurants and shops. They offer dolphin tours.
Great location, friendly & helpful staff and cheap room!
