Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This was a great hostel in Mombasa's old town and it was very easy to meet other backpackers also staying at the hostel. The two balconies looking out over the water were very nice to hangout and it was easy to walk to attractions such as the fort or the market during the day.
I have no words to express the place, it is in a great location which is safe & just 5 mins from the beach, the house is equipped with all the amenities you will need & has an air conditioner which is superb & cold, the host jeff was very helpful & helped us with everything we needed. The place is walking distance to carrefour & restaurants... Overall a excellent stay in Mombasa
Great location with easy access to Old Town. I'd highly recommend it for city stay. I always felt safe with the security right outside the door; occasionally assisting with giving directions to tuk tuk drivers.
A very welcoming stay from such a vibrant and young group of people who work there. I will definitely be staying here again in future.
Fatma is the best host in the world! She is kind and super helpful and incredibly welcoming; she will help with anything you may need.
The location in the old town is perfect for exploring Mombasa on foot, it feels very safe and tuk tuks are cheap and plentiful if you prefer not to walk. Great cafes and restaurants a few minutes away.
The apartment is clean and comfortable and very secure
Great location, right next to a 24/7 Quick Mart. The room was comfortable -- no air conditioning but there are fans. Felt very safe with a security guard on premises at all times.
I didn't utilize this, but they give a discounted dental checkup at the dentist office downstairs if you'd like.
The hosts, both Javis and Ary, were just the best, I not only felt safe but felt I was family. They took their time to ensure my stay was comfortable. The facility was cleaned daily, and the staff were really friendly. It was very clean, safe, and in a great location. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
One can easily visit the nearby malls, restaurants, clubs, and movie theaters all near to your apartment.
It is great to have finally a backpacking hostel in Mombasa. Good quality/price place. The rooms are not amazing, but the bar and swimming were cool. For backpackers, there is all you need there.
Amazing staff! Great location- close to the main road and transport! Excellent wifi. Very safe - night guard, security cameras and 24/7 working reception!
