I had the opportunity to meet and interact with kenyan families whilst there, which, for me is a far richer wholesome opportunity than other backpackers.

Wow wow wow!! Fiorella was by far the best place we stayed at in Diani Beach. It ticks all the boxes in terms of what you’re looking for in a place: great location, very safe, open-plan set up, amazingly comfortable bed, super clean and modern finishes. We stayed here for 4 nights but we wish we’d stayed here longer. All-round amazing. Special shout out Ali, Hope and Eghwa for their hospitality and warm welcomes!
The people were very friendly and the rooms were comfortable, clean and there was enough space! the resort had two pools and had a great location next to the beach (the beach was accessible via the resort). The food and drinks were very good and the resort plans a lot of fun activities throughout the week. Also, you can plan trips through the reception. There is also security at the beach, so you’ll feel very safe. 10/10 recommend.
We went with a group of friends, but all others rented private villas around the area. Yes, they had it much cheaper, but none of their properties came even close to how nice Amani was.
It's a super safe site with high walls, double gates and round the clock security. I felt safer than I feel at home.
Really beautiful property, staff are very attentive and it was mostly very quiet at the pool.
Hotel was fantastic- it's safe, comfortable, clean, amazing staff, great location to access local beaches, attractions and activities. Thank you so much to the team for looking after us and making our Xmas trip amazing! If you need any recommendations about local activities, airport or SGR transfers the reception team are happy to assist. This was our first trip to Diani and the entire team (reception, housekeeping, restaurant and bar team) really looked after us. I would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.
We loved staying at backpackers! it’s so close to the beach which is ideal. The hostel has a really friendly atmosphere and people were really social. drinks/food was affordable and the social calendar was great! I would recommend staying over the weekend if you are into partying - Friday night was awesome!
