Toshiba the manager was very attentive and details. Showed me all the facilities and also recommended the best onsen in Kinosaki. Thank you Yoshi. The coffee bag was excellent.

The host was very nice. The rooms are super clean and I enjoyed this stay a lot! Even though the place is a little bit far away from kinosaki onsen, there is a direct bus going there (and the train, direct one is quite rare, but other way is one transfer). Also, the host helped us with arranging the transfer. Breakfast is cheap and nice.
I really enjoyed the view from the balcony. Perfect for morning coffee! Common space also has everything (even though we didn't use it cause we stayed in individual room). There's also a nice izakaya style restaurant downstairs.
Situated in the Kinosaki hot-spring area, Kinsui Annex offers simple Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi.

The room was clean, warm, and spacious,, if a little beat up. The staff was kind. It is in a stellar location for the other hot springs around town. They give you a hot spring pass for all 7 (6 during our visit, one was under construction) onsen. Though, that is standard with most hotels in the area.

Really clean and modern hostel.
The staff is very friendly and you can clearly see that they take good care of the hostel. They also gave us great recommendations of nearby restaurants where we enjoyed a good dinner.
All in all, we had a super one night stay at HATAYA!
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great value for money, brilliant host. The week we were there was very quiet with 2 other guests. Host is lovely and helpful. Lights downstairs go off at 10 pm. Very nice considering it is a hostel and sharing bathrooms/toilets. Very clean. If you come for the onsen, some onsen closes on a certain days of the week. Lovely experience to enjoy in Japan.
very good value! authentic ryokan experience for a relatively cheap buck:)) came with a day pass which let us use all the onsens while we were there🤍 lady working there doesnt speak a lot of English but this never posed a problem as she was very accomodating and sweet. room was clean, beds were tidy and comfy. room came with yukatas that you can wear while doing ur onsen-hopping🤍🤍 wooden shoes (getas) are also available for free:)) air conditioning was also really nice, we went there during summer
