Good value for money
What you can expect from this kind hostels/guesthouses ;)
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location, the guesthouse is small but so confortable ! Dormitory is just 4 spacious individual beds, this is amazing. Also, great host, who gives a lot of good recommendation around for restaurants and places to have drink. Would definitely recommend and come back ! +++
The place is beautifully maintained!
It is quiet, tidy and clean, with that hint of an aesthetic touch that makes you feel at ease. The staff is friendly and courteous.
Hard to find anything better, one of the best hostels I have stayed in :)
Great location, in the middle of a shopping street. Nice little Onsen (separate opening hours for women and men). Free welcome drink. Very friendly staff. Cheap washing machine.
Great stay at JAQ homestay. We spent only one night but it was great, dormitory was like it was describe, clean commons parts, and mostly a friendly staff (who speak english).
We arrived for the italian cooking party and spent a great night meeting people and talking with the Chief, who managed to make everyone feel welcome !
Tidy and welcoming hostel. Facilities were clean and easy to access. The bunk beds in the dormitory room were surprisingly spacious and comfortable, with room for luggage. Close to the shopping district. The restaurants recommended by the manager were all fantastic.
This was the only true hostel I stayed at while in Japan but the host was extremely nice, and also unusually good at English which made for some nice small talk. Gave me some nice travel tips and food recommendations. The room is nothing spectacular, I checked in relatively early so had a choice of which bunk to take. Facilities are all solid, there are clean showers and also some free tea/water. I spent very little time in the hostel itself in the end beyond sleeping but it was perfectly adequate and incredibly cheap too.
Stayed in both a private room and dorms during my stay at this hostel. It's an awesome place, seems very new. We stayed around 2 weeks. The hostel is quiet however there was almost always new people who stayed for one or two nights so there were opportunities to talk with people. The beds were very comfortable and the facilities were clean. Staff were so helpful. Kitchen was very well equipped. Laundry facilities and towel rentals were available. I highly enjoyed my stay at this peaceful hostel and would recommend.
