The place was great! The architecture beautiful and the furnishings astonishing, they do have an issue with bugs, which is fine, but I didn’t expect it to be as bad. I suspect it might be hard to fix but they could insolate the home so there are not quite as many, it was a bit uncomfortable to have bugs swarming around me when I was in the bedroom area. Aside from that the place is beautiful. I still reccomend it

we love the capsule style beds. It was our first experience in a shared-style hostel. At first I was a bit anxious about having common baths and toilets, but the set-up was still very convenient. The common room is spacious, the kitchen and laundry had everything we needed for our stay. The location is also convenient.
Blue Hour Kanazawa is conveniently located just a 3-minute's walk away from Kanazawa Station.

I arrived early in the morning, and when the staff arrived, she allowed me to check in early, which was really helpful.
Usually, in dorms or capsule rooms, there are bunk beds above your bed, but here, there's no one above you, so it's very comfortable when you stand up.
The towels are changed daily.
They provide Muji facial cleanser, Muji cleansing oil, and Muji toner – all of which are excellent.
highly recommend!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at SHARIN in Kanazawa! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to assist me when I had a bus problem heading to Shirakawa-go, ensuring I had all the necessary information and support. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Kanazawa Station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The beds are comfortable, the facilities are clean, and the rates are very affordable.

The guesthouse had a very inviting and comfortable atmosphere, and it had many interesting places inside with retro toys and historical objects from the region. The room was also wide and the bed was comfortable.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
This guesthouse has hostel vibes (which I consider to be a good thing), yet our room was elegant, the outside terrace/balkony inviting, and the bathroom splendid and very new.
The common area was clean and inviting, and the use of the kitchen area great.
Even if you do not care about the "common parts", it is still a great room for a reasonable price.
Everything was clean and nicely put together! The owner is very very kind and shared some nearby restaurants and way to Ainokura. The hostel is located very near to the bus station. The toilet and shower room were very clean and the room was spacious! The owner also had a heater in the shower room, which I thought was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again if I’m visiting!
Dinner & breakfast were included with our Japanese-style room and both were excellent. The couple who run the ryokan were friendly & helpful. Great location to be able to access the Gassho villages of Ainokura and Suganuma without a car - the local bus stop is directly outside the ryokan. It is also opposite the oldest Gassho house (300 years); it is open to the public and you can climb up to the 5th floor.
Beautiful house with tatami rooms with futons or bunks. Incredibly friendly and kind young family who had no end of knowledge about activities in the area, the best food and the onsen choices. They are even able to point out all the local vegan options! After a long day they also served us dinner in their comfortable cafe. The hostel also has a small guest kitchen if you bring your own food.
