Very close to the subway station. I am a good walker so I walked over to both the Osaka castle and museum and dotomburi. There is also a nice rose garden close by. Plenty of restaurants around and a convenience store just around the corner. The hotel itself also has some instant ramen for sale. The pods are nice with an individual light, air fan and two points to charge one is a regular socket the other a socket usb combo. It may be a bit short for taller people. I am only 1.63m so I slept quite comfortably, much taller people may not fit the mattress. The breakfast is not huge but they keep it always refilled. Everyday you get a new set of towels and if staying more than one night you can let them know you would like your pod cleaned. You can only access the floor you have the key for. There are two showers on the second floor at the end of a nice powder with 5 stations with good hair dryers and two changing rooms. They have a pretty nice collection of manga if you enjoy that and can read Japanese. There are coin operated washing and drying machines there is only one of each but they are quite fast so I did not experience any problems using them.

This is a very clean and comfortable accommodation. The staff was very friendly, I received all amenities such as toothbrush, towel, home suite and slippers on my arrival. The bathroom is also very well equipped and there is even a hair straightener for common use.
To my positive surprise, it was very quite in the room.

I had a wonderful time at this centrally located property! It’s really well-maintained, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home, always ready to help with whatever I needed. The common area is such a cozy spot where you can cook, eat, watch TV, or just hang out with others. I stayed in the female room, and my bed was super comfy, plus it had a curtain for extra privacy! The bathrooms and showers were kept really clean, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience!

Firstly the positives.
Location good, from exit 2 of Tanimachi 9 chome station and Dotonbori within walking distance.
Bed was comfortable and solid with outlet, also personal locker in room area for valuables,(bring your own padlock).
Staff were friendly, helpful and outgoing. Dani really knowledgeable on Osaka, everyone relaxed and friendly.
Bar at the bottom was ok for meeting travellers now and again.

We booked for 3 nights at first and ended up extending for 9 more nights! The owner is very nice and helpful. We arrived super late at night and he was waiting for us. I got sick and he provided me with a thermometer. The hostel is a very quiet place, clean and confortable. Small, but cozy, feels like you’re at home. I stayed in a private bedroom with shared bathroom and it was nice. I saw the shared dorms and the bed are HUGE! Like twin/double beds! And finally, the neighborhood is very nice too, very calm and a lot of little stores nearby. A nice takoiyaki just on the corner, one of the best ramens we had in Japan on the next street, good indian food too, the best okonomiyaki ever 5 min walk! I would definitely recommend it for travellers with a short budget and would stay there again if back to Osaka!
