The hosts are warm, welcoming, and kind enough to explain everything about the accommodation and surroundings. The place is like living in an original Japanese house with a cotton bed style. The common areas are great for having free drinks and a fridge to use—free biking for you to explore around the city and lake.

The room felt like a Ryokan stay which made my first night in Japan great. The room had U.S. outlets but only two prongs but it was no issue since re-chargers utilize two-prongs.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Facilities were spotless, quiet capsules- I was there in a very quiet time thought so weren’t many others staying at the same time, great location and felt very safe. Lawson also right next door.
A pleasant and welcoming 'home-style' hostel with good shared facilities. Very close to the train/bus station. A good budget option in a popular, relatively-expensive tourist town. Felt quite at home there and actually extended our stay by 2 days
Lovely family runs the hostel, they have the cutest baby. Clean Kitchen with everything you need to cook is available. Nice common area with a lot of stuff to entertain yourself and meet new people. Clean and big rooms. Great views from Fuji San.They also have free shuttle from and to the train station and you can rent bikes as well.
friendly staff, very spacious room, handy location, just across the bus/train station. clean and tidy, firm mattress, heaty toilet cover. restaurants and shops just around the corner (20 metres walk). the staff recommended the shop next door for luggage storage which was safe and cheap.
Host is helpful and friendly . The condition of the house is not ideal. Very run down and smelly room and smelly toilet. Typical old building smell. Price is not exactly cheap too. Feels like a hostel but not price at a backpackers price
