Beautiful quality design, comfortable and accommodating socialization and peaceful solitude. The capsule beds are very comfortable and create a private space for rest.

Kana was lovely and helped us make an inexpensive private onsen reservation the night we arrived, and also helped us find nearby restaurants to eat at. We stayed in the private double room and didn't have any issues with other guests. We were able to hold our luggage in the lobby after we checked out in order to spend the rest of the day on the Hakone golden route.

The host was so helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed our conversations, full of life and funny.
The room is very clean, tatami floor and futon. The bathroom may need a bit of renovating but it didn't bother me.
Location was great, 5 min to the beach, 12-15 min to the port and about 18 min to the station, but there is a bus stop near by that goes to the station. You can see mt. Fuji on a clear day on the street where the guesthouse is. Very special place, I would like to stay again.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
One of the best hostels I have ever been to, not only in Japan, but in general. To start with, staff were incredible, hard working and always there to help if needed. Location was perfect, facilities were great, really nice atmosphere, cosy beds and great views from the living room and the roof. I originally booked two nights there, though ended up staying for six. Highly recommended! Really, deserves a 10/10 in my opinion.
they offer a traditional japanese breakfast for a price or you can buy your own dried fish and use their BBQs. There is a bar in the hostel. The location is very good.
Great location next to a ferry and 10 min walk from the beach. Amazing ocean view from the room and restaurant. Good dinner and breakfast. Playroom with table tennis and game machines- nice for families to avoid the heat. The hotel is a bit old, but clean, with a small open air onsen at the roof- overall, excellent value for money for a family holiday.
An ideal spot for solo female travellers en route to Tokyo. Highly recommend Atami as a place to stay for two nights.
The staff at this hostel were all very friendly. Everything is very clean and feels spacious because it's so tidy. It's not too far from the beach and the station.
Bed is comfortable, there's places to sit and eat and there are female-only showers and toilets.
This was such a lovely place to stay in Atami. We opted for the room with the onsen on the balcony, and we were not disappointed! Very clean, extremely friendly staff and great location - right near Atami sun beach, cafes and lovely shops. Onsen facilities were great, and very impressive breakfast buffet! Would very happily stay here again.
Nice and small place. Staff were helpful and friendly. There is a small and basic hostel on site for ¥150 per night (you don't have to pay if you don't use the onsen, regular showers are available). The common room is big and there's a great view from the roof. The capsule was bigger than in other hostels I stayed in.
Mayo and her staff were amazing. The hostel is fab, so cute and quirky. The bed was really comfy and private, with a light and sockets.
I got a welcome drink and had dinner in the cafe and chatted to the staff. I felt like I was a friend rather than a guest.
Great location, only 10/15 walk to the beach. Perfect for sunrise.
Great location, a few steps off the beach promenade. We came here for the option of using the kitchen and the big rooms. Being able to prepare our own meals was really convenient when on a budget. Rooms on the third floor have a great view. Spa was simple but roomy and very clean.
