Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Perfect place to stay at Dana. Great location, authentic food and Malik the owner is a outstanding host. The rooms has perfect view to the valley and sunset. Defintitiv a place to go always back.
The mountain setting is absolutely stunning and the welcome by our host was warm and sympathetic - right from the first encounter in the Dana village over the delicious tea to the excellent homemade food. Our conversations gave us insights and thereby a deeper understanding of local life. One of the walls in our room was natural rock and facing it we had large windows giving us a magnificent view towards the valley and mountains. The whole area is very peaceful and safe - besides from being extraordinarily beautiful!
Very quaint hotel in Dana Village, right at the start of the Wadi Dana trail. We booked the budget room but received a upgrade to one with a terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner helped us arrange a private transfer to Madaba at a very low cost. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.
The place was in a great location & the owner upgraded the room for free with an ensuite toilet & shower with a heater in otherwise the rooms are cold at night.
We arrived in the evening when they just started lunch, there was a buffet for 8JD which was worth it and unlimited tea.
The breakfast was very filling too. There was a lot of spots to go hiking but they cost around 15JD which wasn't in the price range.
