This hostel is a brilliant find for the following reasons:
-its right in the middle of the old part of Verona
-its really good value for money
-it's run by an organisation that supports women in need so your money is going towards a good cause.
-the staff are very friendly and helpful
-theres a fridge in the bedroom so you can buy stuff from the supermarket and store it in there.
-there was an area for leaving your luggage.
-the property felt secure and safe
I was also pleased to find that the 10 bed dorm I booked turned out to be an 8 and it also wasn't completely full.
The dorm is also on two levels in a room with a very high ceiling so you feel quite spaced out from each other.

I loved the breakfast was included. I liked the location however was hard to get to places with the buses since you had to walk 25 min for the first bus stop. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful giving tips about the place and what to do around.

The location is perfect to reach nearly everywhere as the train station is max. 10 minutes away on foot and the bus station is also close. Several busses leave from there to Sirmione, Malcesine, Verona and Garda. Also, there are tons of restaurants and cafes around that you can try.
Considering the price( 3 euros) breakfast was decent. It included toast bread, butter, jams, tea, juices and types of cereals. On the first day, there were also ham and cheese.
The room was big for 8 bunk beds and we had quite a place to move. The beds were too close though.
We had a free food day as a group activity which created a cozy environment for connecting with new people and having a conversation.
The welcome was warm and sweet. I had bad luck with the train on the day I came to the hostel, which caused me to reach the hostel far later than I planned. They provided me with late check-in even though it was noon and reception was closed.
Ostello La Sosta has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Contrada Anselmi. The property is around 21 miles from Sant'Anastasia, 21 miles from Ponte Pietra and 21 miles from Verona Arena.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location. Nice staff. The outside patio with delicious own wine and small plates of great tapas-style snack is so relaxing. Easy to get to town by bus (very cheap) good beds and nice spacious room.
Air conditioning was amazing, room was a huge size - very spacious, bathroom was clean, fridge was useful, hostel in a great location & staff are very lovely.
It's a very clean and cozy place. My stay was great and everything was just perfect. The hostel has very kind and helpful staff. I really recommend this place for a short and low-budget stay. I felt very safe there. The area nearby is also safe and close to the bus that takes you to the train station and further to the airport.
Best hostel I've ever stayed at!! Amazing value for the money. This hostel is quite close to the city, it takes around 10/15 minutes to walk there. The whole hostel is super clean and the rooms are big and don't have too many beds. I was in a quite big room and only shared with two others, it was perfect. It's worth it to stay in this hostel even to go visit other cities on day trips, since it's way cheaper than staying in cities like Venice for example.
i like everything about the property! The room is very big for 4 people. You will have a single bed instead of bunk beds offered normally in a hostel. The bathroom was clean and everything that you needed is provided. I think this is the best hostel that I stayed in Northern Italy so far. Staff are friendly and fluent in English.
Really the best hostel I have ever been as a single woman traveler. Felt safe whole time and everybody was super nice. Great organization with huge potential in other cities too. Wish there were more places like this.
