Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Very close to airport, free shuttle bus service to and from airport. It’s an online checkin system, host was very quick to respond, at arrival phoned up shuttle bus picked us up within 10mins. Driver was very friendly and helpful with luggage, opened our keysafe, showed us the nearby pizzeria.
The apartment spacious, clean. There were snacks , fruit and bottled water complementary. Selection of soft and alcoholic drinks in minibar for a small fee. We felt very welcome. Great place to stay if you have a late arrival or and early departure.
The units are spotless, modern, spacious, well equipped, beautifully decorated, well maintained, comfortable, 7 minutes from Malpensa but clean and quiet, plus there is free, safe parking right outside the unit. Has a convenient safety bar and is within walking distance from a restaurant. Couldn't find a single fault- 2nd time we've stayed here and each unit is different but tastefully decorated with the same comforts.
The location is secluded and beautiful - very quiet, except for the sound of the rushing river. The hostel is small historic house - it accommodates only 25 people in total. The room for 2 had a lovely view and a nice shower room - everything was very clean and in good condition.
The location was brilliant for transport links, 10 minutes car/taxi from Malpensa Airport.
Short walk to the train station and cheap trains to Stresa and other Lake Maggiore destinations.
Lots of restaurants nearby and the town of Somma Lombardo is beautiful.
Bathroom facilities were okay, self catering facilities were adequate.
AC kept the room nice and cool until the last night that it started leaking water! We turned it off to be safe but otherwise it was still working.
Overall good value for money. We would stay again.
