Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The best hostel I've stayed in. The atmosphere was fantastic, the beds were very good and sturdy with curtains for privacy, the lockers were spacious with our own keys provided, and the paper map I was given was a great guide to the city with a useful description of the sites to visit. The AC kept me nice and cool in the hot summer day and I slept perfectly, and the staff were super friendly.
The apartment was very clean, in a great location, 5mins walking to Ortigia and 10mins walking to the bus terminal.
It has all the basic necessities and the hosts are very nice. I communicated in English with Alessia via text messages and with mrs and mr Lago f2f. Even though mrs Lago didnt understand English and I didnt understand italian we were able to understand each other :)
The building itself is very clean and safe and would definitely recommend it even for a longer period of time.
Clean and tidy apartment on the first floor, entrance directly from the street. The premises have everything you need of good quality. It is easy to find a parking space near the entrance. Great location - all major attractions within a 15 minute walk. The area of the city is not problematic, calm, safe.

The location is excellent - the hostel is situated in the heart of Ortiga. We stayed here for the Ortiga Sound System festival, and we were within walking distance to everywhere we needed to be. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hostel had a calm vibe and felt super safe. In general, the hostel is pretty basic.
