Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Fabulous location. Easy walk down to the main piazzas and close to the mini market and several restaurants, butcher etc. Everything you need for a two week stay. Our host, Laura, was fantastic and picked us up from the station and took us back down when we left. She responded immediately to any queries.
All the basics were there which was great as we ate in a lot of days.
We walked around the outside of the town every morning and a great location to start from to do a circuit ending up in the Parterre and back for coffee.
Beautiful location is an excellent place for a family getaway. Swimming pool was great and safe for the kids. Facilities are adequate as it is an old farmhouse. Enzo was brilliant
Beautifully Restored Tuscan property. Fully equipped, comfortable beds. The cleanest property I have ever stayed in. Responsive, friendly owners. A lovely welcome pack. Dog friendly. Superb small garden with comfortable outdoor furniture. Safe car parking. It was peaceful and secure. A good location for touring Tuscany towns and villages. Large supermarket within 5 minutes walk also excellent fish restaurant 5 minutes away.
Nice location, nice staff, however reception was closed from about 6 or 7pm, no staff anywhere. It was cheap and I'm happy there was a hostel option in Cortona, but need to work on creating some atmosphere. Could do with some nice common areas, outdoor space etc. Needs a bit of character and life
